The story begins on a perfectly ordinary day. The students in Ms. Braithwaite's third grade class are sitting at their desks, working on their math problems. But then, something strange happens. Ms. Braithwaite starts to act strangely. She starts talking to herself, dancing around the room, and singing at the top of her lungs.

At first, the students are confused. They've never seen their teacher act like this before. But then, they start to realize that Ms. Braithwaite has lost her mind.

The students are terrified. They don't know what to do. They try to get her to stop, but she doesn't listen. She just keeps singing and dancing.

Finally, the students decide to take matters into their own hands. They sneak out of the classroom and go to the principal's office. They tell the principal what's going on, and the principal rushes to the classroom.

The principal finds Ms. Braithwaite singing and dancing in the middle of the room. She doesn't even notice the principal standing there.

The principal tries to get Ms. Braithwaite to stop, but she doesn't listen. She just keeps singing and dancing.

Finally, the principal has had enough. He calls the school nurse, and the nurse gives Ms. Braithwaite a shot. The shot calms Ms. Braithwaite down, and she finally stops singing and dancing.

The students are relieved that Ms. Braithwaite is back to normal. They've had a crazy day, but they've also learned a valuable lesson. They've learned that even when things seem their worst, there's always hope.
