The story begins on a perfectly ordinary day. The students in Ms. Braithwaite's third grade class are sitting at their desks, working on their math problems. But then, something strange happens. Ms. Braithwaite starts to act strangely. She starts talking to herself, dancing around the room, and singing at the top of her lungs.
At first, the students are confused. They've never seen their teacher act like this before. But then, they start to realize that Ms. Braithwaite has lost her mind.

The students are relieved that Ms. Braithwaite is back to normal. They've had a crazy day, but they've also learned a valuable lesson. They've learned that even when things seem their worst, there's always hope.
